For students

1. First visit from your invitation. Open the link in your Vicky invitation email. Check that the page shows the email address that received the invitation. Enter your “First Name” and “Last Name”, choose a password following the instructions on screen, repeat it in “Confirm Password” and select “Create account”. If the page recognises an existing account, use your Vicky password. Follow the instructions shown afterwards. If you reach “Sign In”, enter the same email and your password.

2. Lost the link? If you already have an account, open Vicky’s “Sign In” page and use your email: you do not need the invitation again. If you have never created an account, search for “Vicky” in the inbox and spam folder of the email address used for the invitation. If you cannot find it or it has expired, ask the person who invited you for a new invitation, giving your email address.

3. Forgot your password? On “Sign In”, select “Forgot password?”. Enter your account email and select “Send Reset Link”. Check your inbox and spam folder. Open the reset email, enter “New password” and “Confirm new password”, then select “Update Password”. If the link is invalid, select “Request a new reset link”. Password recovery is for an account you have already created.

4. Where is your course? After signing in, open “My Courses” and select your course. On a phone, “My Courses” is in the menu opened from the top-left button. If it is missing, check that you used the invitation email and the correct organisation. If it is still missing, tell your professor or administrator the course name and your email address.

5. How do you open a lab? Open your course, choose the section and the lab assigned to you, then follow the instructions on screen. Use a computer for the 3D experience. If your phone asks you to use a computer, continue on a computer with the same account.

6. How do you ask Vicky? On the home page after signing in, type your question in Vicky’s input and send it. For example: “Help me understand the material in my course.”

Keep your password and personal invitation and reset links private.

For professors

Invite a student. Open “Students” and select “Invite Students”. Enter the student’s email address and choose the course or cohort offered by the dialog. The student receives a personal invitation by email. If it expires or cannot be found, resend the invitation from the invitations list.

Find a student. On “Students”, use “Search by name or email…” in the “Directory”. Check the email address before helping with access or a missing course.

Help with a password reset. Ask the student to choose “Forgot password?” on “Sign In”, using the email address of their existing account. They receive and open their own reset email. Never ask for their password or personal reset link. If they have never created an account, resend their invitation instead.

A message to share with your students

Copy these three steps into your course announcement alongside the invitation. Each student should use their own invitation email.

1. Open your Vicky invitation email and follow its link. Create your account using the email address that received the invitation, or use your existing Vicky password if the page recognises your account. Keep your personal invitation link private.

2. Sign in with the same email address. Already registered and lost the invitation? You can sign in without it. Forgot your password? Choose “Forgot password?” on “Sign In” and follow the reset email. If you have never created an account and cannot find a valid invitation, ask the person who invited you for a new one.

3. Open “My Courses”, choose your course, then the assigned section and lab. On a phone, open “My Courses” from the top-left menu; use a computer for the 3D experience. You can ask Vicky from the home page. For all six answers, open https://vickylabs.ai/help.
